Zeugo Ref 1-100

This is really where the modern Zëugo range begins. Most importantly, the base style changed again, and the clear distinction between heavyweight bases and modern sliding in Zëugo production was introduced. The main distinction between this and the second edition was the introduction of the Profibase’s (sometimes known as 3D Power bases) ditching the Black box subbuteo bases designed by Enrico from Astrobase who had brought out there own range Soccer3D. So Zeugo went to Astrobases rivals Profibase and the rest is history.
This new Zëugo base is flatter and heavier than the earlier Astrobase one and as Peter Upton said on his page “I regard these teams as the first really mass market “professional use” sides. Certainly, they are the one “straight out of the box” team set that is used regularly at my local table soccer club – the Worthing Five-Star. Just a really good beginners set.”
The third edition as its known carried on with the 1-44 from the second edition just swapping bases and away they went.

The Zeugo range seems to have done two different methods in regards with reference numbers. Some are done as you would expect a new ref per new kit but others are like how Subbuteo did it in the 90’s with multiple kits per reference. This makes it harder to make sure all is listed but hopefully with help of everyone i will hopefully list them all eventually.

Earlier refs were all hand painted or partly handpainted pretty much up until they changed over from the blue box to the green box. So any teams that were in the range then was machine painted as you will see below some examples although no difference in the kits one is machine painted the other handpainted (Ref 1 is a very clear example)
