Every Team needs a Goalkeeper. There is no set Goalkeeper colour that comes per team (Just like Subbuteo) The only rule of what keeper would come with what would be that as long as it didn’t/doesn’t clash with the main team.

One way to easily tell what edition the Gks are from. First and second edition (in the Square boxes) was on Blue rods. Everything else 2006 onwards was Black rods. The Rods were Longer than the standard Subbuteo green rods and therefore they are the go to Goalkeeper for people who play Traditional Subbuteo rules at clubs etc.
