Released in March 2012, the Subbuteo revival featured both generic teams and a few licensed teams, with the latter being the highlight of the UK range. Unfortunately, this official team range ceased in 2016, leaving a void in modern Subbuteo that subsequent attempts have failed to fill adequately in my opinion.

The generic team range encompassed standard kits, including representation for a few national teams, albeit Wales was notably omitted. Northern Ireland might have been overlooked due to its similarity to Ireland.

Following the discontinuation of the official team range, a second wave of teams was released to cover various team colors. This inadvertently benefitted smaller clubs sharing colors with larger ones like Manchester United.

I’ve also compiled a page dedicated to teams exclusively found in box sets. These teams include generic red and blue teams, but the box sets added variety by featuring all-white or all-red teams, among others.
