Subbuteo World had many exclusive teams added to the Proper Black box range during the black box era… BUT around 2004, Subbuteoworld pushed the boat out and added two extra ranges “Limited Edition ranges… These were Marketed as more “Deluxe” teams with a price point to match compared to what the normal black box teams were retailing at on the website (£8.99 normal — £15.99 for this range) … These were hand-painted in the UK at a higher quality on OLD LW figures rather than the Black box Figures but did come on the black box two colour base… They came in a Black box as well so can be confused with The Proper range when these are not from that…

Only two ranges were done covering teams not in the Proper Range… The ranges covered the English Conference (32 different kits including away strips), and the Japanese J-League (16 sides). So if you have any of these Don’t mistake them as Official Black box teams 😉
