A really rare short lived game from the Newfooty company… This was the basic Newfooty version, This was generally a “budget” game of which looked to undercut the rivals, which had higher quality wooden framed pitches. On this set, the legs were just metal bolts screwed into the corners of the pitch. The box sides gave a high surround, which was useful for keeping the ball in play, and this was decorated with packed stands. The goals appear to be just the front uprights and bar, with no nets. There seems a distinct lack of goalkeepers. The outfield players, of which Im and this site are most interested were pretty much identical to the Newfooty figures of the period. So the possiblity of a few teams being available is there perhaps? Like the New footy Sets of which never had Set teams like Subbuteo and there Ref 1 and 2…
The teams where 3 a side… (2 outfield) Like most Magnetic games of the time and the players come on Unique bases (Of course) but with Unique Lettering on the bases
