From the 2011/2012 season onward (although the World Cup 2010 teams were the first to use this figure and bases), Soccer 3D introduced a new figure and base. Known as the 2G Figure, it appeared much more lifelike than the original figure, which was also utilized for the Black Box Subbuteo Range. From personal experience, the base represented a significant improvement in play-ability. Although lighter than the Zeugo base, it offered a more consistent playing experience akin to the Zeugo Range.

This marked the end of the original base, now dubbed the 3D Classic figures on 3D Classic bases, signaling the conclusion of the Black Box Lineage. They were replaced with a new figure and base known as the 2G figures, while the bases were named POWER bases. Additionally, they are also available for purchase on HW outer bases as well.
