A Fan made Set limited run set released in the 90’s… The players where all in the correct matching poses to there 50’s counterparts but were printed onto paper, which has been glued to a white plastic shaped figure A real do it yourself job… They Resemble the look of the Subbuteo flats rather than the new footy of the past. They came on one-piece plastic bases too, Again closer to 1950s Subbuteo Rather than Newfooty, Probably because by the 90’s Lead in “Childrens” toys wasn’t exactly a good idea as the knowledge of Lead posioning from low level exposure in children was far more Understood from the 1970’s onwards… SO without the lead gone was the “Proper” New footy feel which always had a performance affecting heavy lead feel (Because of the lead)
