Delacoste did make it to the Lw Era but Mako SA. Took over the Rights for Distribution of Subbuteo in france around 1982 and with it another unique numbering system was implemented (side note the delacoste range at this stage mostly transferred to this new Mako SA range so likely won’t do a seperate page I MAY come back and add the delacoste numbering to this page as they had changed there reference number system from the HW and Zombie days… but for now make sure to Head to Peter Upton’s section as always for for more detail :)) … Just like the Delacoste Range beforehand… Mako SA. range still had the main Reference labels on the box with the proper reference numbers on them.. But unlike Delacoste’s crudely applied stickers stuck over the orginal Reference number on the Hw Box… Mako SA. would put their own Yellow Ref stickers on the front of the box in contarst to what the German Lw Range who also had there own unique numbering sytem but original ref stickers generally not present… and the Spanish went all out with there Spanish Borras range with a Unique box design etc…

IM not sure on the dating of when this no longer was a thing the only thing confirmed is the start date of 1982/83 catalogue was the first but no confirmation of when this numbering finished and the french market reverted to the normal numbering… (The Oracle Peter Upton also hasn’t got a so called end date of the Unique Numbering) So was this a one season/ one year thing?

Mako.Sa Numbering for the teams always started with 53… Below I will mark out what ones are known but sadly I don’t have many Pictures of teams in said boxes for now… so all help is good in this task so as always reach out if you have any that are missing:)
