Subbuteo have released named teams with several styles of Typed Labels… This Page will show all of the SSG Ones done on the boxes over the years from the Early Typed labels (That came after the Plastic Strip Labels) To The More Bold Typed labels of the Later Era Small Box… (This Page Does not Contain the German Named boxes With a Different Style of Label done for the German Market of which was done in a yet another Style… that will be on there own Separate Section.


It was hard to accurately Nail down the dates of when each type was used so for Far more info on the Labelled (and Stamped) Teams and when the Time Period used make sure to visit Peter Upton’s site below…

These are the Earlier Typed Named That Replaced the original Plastic Strip Labelled boxes… These were commonly used for Out of Catalogue teams, New Kits that were eventually added to the range later down the line and of course the Special Order Teams…. if label is present on the box in the photo they will be on this page but also I have a Dedicated page for Special orders/Out of Catalogue Teams elsewhere (Including ones that may not appear here)… This Page is all about the labels 🙂

So here are the Small typed Labels that started to appear from the 1970 and mainly found on the Long boxes and Long Splash boxes… but also very similar ones appear short Splash box… so those two will be on this page… The Later Label with the more bold font…

List in alphabetical order unless its a NEW… team in that case it will be alphabetical in from the club name…
